Follow Up

Congratulations on your decision to trust Christ Jesus with your life! You will find that He provides love and adventure at every turn as you follow Him. One of the first things He instructs you to do is to be baptized as a physical symbol of your decision to trust and obey Him.
To baptize means “to dip” or “to immerse.” Churches today baptize in several different ways, but in the Bible people were baptized by being immersed in a river or lake. It is a picture of being like Christ. He died to Himself and His own desires in order to obey God. This led Him to the cross, but it also led to His resurrection from the dead three days later. In the same way, baptism is a picture of dying to sin and self and of God raising us up to a new life.
To celebrate your decision and in obedience to God’s command, we have scheduled a time when you can be baptized in the river too. On Sunday, October 4, we are gathering by Lynches River for a worship service and baptism. Our host is Coward Baptist Church, and they have invited us to join them for an outdoor meeting at 11:00 a.m. You don’t have to dress up, but you might want to wear something in a dark color to be baptized in. They also will provide a place where you can change out of your wet clothes, so be sure to bring a towel and something dry to put on.
Directions: If you start from Florence, begin at the Kangaroo on the corner of Irby St. and 3rd Loop Rd. Go south on Irby St. toward Lake City for 5.9 miles. You will come to a traffic light in Effingham. HUBs Grill will be on your right (bright blue store). Turn right onto Hwy. 301 (Olanta Hwy.), then go approximately 8.6 miles to the place of baptism, which is on the right. There will be a cemetery on the right just before you reach the place of baptism. If you cross Lynches River you have gone too far.
OR Take I-95 south from Florence to Exit #150 (Sardis). Turn left onto Hwy. 403. Continue until you reach a yield sign. Turn left onto Creek Rd. and go approximately 6.8 miles to a stop sign. Turn right onto Hwy. 301 (Olanta Hwy.). Then go about .5 miles to the place of baptism, which is on the right. There will be a cemetery on the right just before you reach the place of baptism. If you cross Lynches River you have gone too far.

The Purpose of Breakthrough Revival

As the Spirit has so amazingly given to me, I write you today as an attempt to make the vision of Breakthrough Revival plain. Many young people and their families have been the heart of our Heavenly Father for some time. The Father began impressing upon me approximately two years ago that a revival needed to take place and that it was to take place at the Kelleytown Athletic Stadium in Hartsville.
The Father is doing something incredibly different that has not been done before. After working with children and young people in the schools for some time, my heart’s cry has been to see the captives set free. I have come to see that there is great brokenness in the families and God wants to heal and restore them. Young people today are not being reared by the traditional nuclear family: a mama and a daddy. The Father’s heart is to give back the days, not only to the young people, but also to their parents, and to their parent’s too. His Word promises to restore the years that the enemy took away, and send in His army among them, and bring everyone out with plenty that has suffered. I believe Father is saying this is a revival for all generations.
The vision for Breakthrough has been given for September 5-7 2009 for Chesterfield, Hartsville, Florence, and Sumter to take place during Labor Day Weekend. The angels are gathering the harvest. The Lord has conveyed unto me that this time of revival will lend a harvest of souls and promises written on many hearts. Furthermore, He said to His disciples, The harvest is truly plenteous, but the labourers are few, pray ye therefore to the Lord of Harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. I believe that you, dear sisters and brothers, are a part of the labourers to assist the revival team in this harvest time.
The Body is needed in many ways to help bring this event to fruition for the Father. You can help by participating in as many events as possible that sponsor the revival; contacting Pastor Ryan Riley at Savannah Advent Church and becoming a decision counselor for the revival, if you feel led by the Lord. There will be a training on August 28th at Savannah Advent Church at 7 :00. p.m. As well, continued intercession for souls, connecting with the pastors and youth ministers in the surrounding cities, and ministry of the prophetic teams. We also need volunteers to open up their homes for this group during the revival. Pray for the speakers, praise and worship, and healing and deliverance teams. Pray for financial provision in abundance to come for Breakthrough Revival.
The lives of families in the greater Pee Dee area are going to be impacted, because our Father wants to use the Body in many ways. You may choose to give of your time, intercession, home, or maybe your financial provision in this revival. However you choose to give, may you know that God’s favor and blessings will rest upon you for ensuring His purposes prevail for your life and for the lives of the ones He touches through you.
Sincerely,
Tracy Redfearn, Leader of Breakthrough Revival
